Women's Tecnostretch long sleeve base layer – a super-soft, super-comfy, super-warm and super-stretchy skin-fit base layer that sets a new standard in warmth, flexibility and comfort for both training and racing.
It is made from Tecnostretch™ fabric by the Italian technical textile specialist Pontetorto, widely used in technical outdoor apparel. The brushed fleece inner quickly wicks sweat away from the body, while the smooth outer face repels water – keeping you dry and warm during intense effort and in challenging weather. Perfect for winter training.
Highly elastic, soft “Nilo” fabric underarm panels maximise reach at the end of each stroke, ensure breathability and prevent chafing.
This top is warmer than a standard base layer, so on dry, cold days you can paddle in it without an extra vest, and in wet weather it is worth combining with a thin outer jacket. For the same reason it is too warm and too thick to wear under the XO-Flex jacket – the thinner MicroSense base layers are better suited for that.

Care: wash at 30 °C (no more than 40 °C) with the garment turned inside out. Do not use fabric softener. Protect the garment from contact with backpack straps, zips, pins, Velcro, etc. From time to time we recommend using a wash-in cleaner and conditioner to keep the garment's original technical performance. Do not dry on hot radiators, near excessive heat or in a tumble dryer. Do not iron, bleach or dry clean.
